GUIDE | CULTURE VULTURE

With the new Augmented Ibiza App you are able to check-in and rate venues depending on how ‘hot‘ they are, so you can see what our users are saying right now. Along with tips from the curators and Ibiza editors’ recommendations, the Augmented Ibiza App gives you the best live guide for all things Ibiza.

In no particular order, here is a list of favourite destinations for those culture vultures looking to explore further afield…

Dalt Vila

A bit of history…

The oldest part of Ibiza Town is full of pretty cobbled streets, ancient
stone statues and is surrounded by a 5-foot thick brick wall (which is a cool
400+ years old). Think culture-vulture heaven. Among the highlights is the museum Museo Puig del Molins, set in a Carthaginian burial ground and boasting all sorts of Roman artefacts found exclusively on Ibiza. An Ibiza must.

Es Cana

Horseshoe Strand…

Close to the Santa Eulalia town and family-friendly resort of the same name,
this beach is a horeshoe of sand. Home to the famed Ibiza hippy market, but a
bit further out if you’re camping out in Ibiza Town.

Formentera

Ibiza’s Little Sister…

If party-mad Ibiza ever gets too much, hop on a ferry to the lovely
Formentera. It’s picture-perfect mediterranean, with white sandy beaches and
crystal clear water to cool off in. Try one of the many cycle/hiking paths if
you are feeling energetic, or just get some much needed R&R.
