It has been clear over the past couple of years that the music scene in Ibiza has undergone some serious change, with a range of new nights and different genres of music finding a home on the island. Things have really kicked off in Summer 2011, with Jamiroquai, Snoop Dogg, Tinie Tempah, The Streets, Primal Scream, Magnetic Man, Chase & Status, Kool & the Gang all playing massive Ibiza gigs.
To bring you the best perspective on what this change means for Ibiza, we quizzed some of the most important names in the Ibiza music scene.
We’ve got opinions from Ibiza legend Sasha and island resident George Evelyn (Nightmares On Wax), whose ‘Wax Da Jam’ night incorporates a strong live element in the jamming concept.
